The image processing software company AKVIS now released the AKVIS Coloriage v5.0. Coloriage is an easy to use software as a plugin to photo editors or a standalone application. Coloriage v5.0 lets you easily colorize your black& white images. The name “Coloriage” comes from French and means “coloring book” and is also suitable to the application because it’s really very easy to use. You take the pencil tool and select the area you want to colorize and a color of course. Coloriage paints the area and keeps the tone transitions as original.

You can also use Keep-Color tool for changing the color of your hair and eyes or to try different colored clothes. For interior designers it makes easy to try different color schemes. Coloriage also fetures selective desaturation and selective colorization tools.

The plug-in version is compatible with Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Paint Shop Pro etc. You can use the software 10 days for free and full functional. Registration costs USD $97.00 for a home license and USD $246.00 for a business license. It’s available for PC and Mac.
