Canon 1000D / Xs vs. 450D / Xsi Quick Comparison PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 10 June 2008

Here we prepared a quick comparison table for the recently announced Canon 1000D / Xs and 450D / Xsi (Canon 400D is also included) to give you an idea about what you get over 400D / Xti and what you miss from 450D / Xsi.

From our first impressions, 1000D seems to be crippled version of 450D / Xsi and priced $200 lower at the same time, which is aiming to compete directly against cameras like Nikon D60,Sony A200 and Olympus E420. Despite the very competitive price, 1000D / Xs still has the Live View advantage over Nikon and Sony. It is not hard to predict that Canon will probably gain back the #1 position in the entry level DSLR market once again with the new 1000D / Xs.
